Park West Clinic provides much sought after surgical Operating Room time, facilities and medical specialists over a number of specialisations on a day case basis. The facility itself is easily accessible being located in Park West adjacent to, and in easy reach of, key transport links such as LUAS, NAAS road and the M50. General Description

Our state of the art, NTPF accredited facility provides both the patient and the clinical user with distinct advantage in treatments and facilities from the main reception area through to the OR. The hospital has been designed and built to meet both national and international design standards for medical facilities including Health Text Memorandum and CEN standards. All equipment within the facility meets and exceeds both National & International rules for medical devices and medically used rooms. These facilities and their high design standards combine to provide a safe, professional and efficient patient treatment environment.

The Main reception is a spacious architecturally designed area with central patient check in facility.

The Operating & ancillary rooms.

The facility consists of two state of the art positive pressure HEPA filtered Operating Rooms complete with Ceiling Mount Operating dual lights, Anaesthetic Pendants, Support equipment, Isolated Power Supplies, IS 340 and HTM compliant surfaces and services, Medical Gasses compliant to HTM 2022 and much more.

The OR's are serviced by a dedicated induction room and Scrub area, centrally located and abutting each OR with direct access. The same high levels of equipping and services have been reflected throughout the induction and scrub areas.

The main Recovery area is a six bedded unit, including two elevated needs beds, with central Nurse's station. Each bedside is equipped with a dedicated Nurse Call / Assistance button, power outlets and patient controlled lighting to augment ambient lighting. Finishes are to the highest standard providing a safe, secure and monitored recover area for the post operative patient.

Instrument Sterilisation services are conducted on site with a dedicated facility. Instrument washers and Autoclaves are installed to meeting the rigid CEN standards and operated in keeping with best practices.
